Inspired by the beloved Scottish dessert, this beautifully crafted bar by Solkiki reimagines cranachan in chocolate form.
Stoneground raspberries, toasted oats and almonds are blended into an award-winning white chocolate base, creating a rich yet delicately textured foundation. Just before setting, whisky-soaked cacao nibs are folded through, adding depth, warmth and a gentle crunch.
The whisky brings a soft, rounded sweetness, more akin to a mellow aged rum, while the bright raspberry cuts through with a refreshing sharpness. Together with the nutty, oaty base, the flavours unfold in perfect balance: comforting, layered and quietly indulgent.
