When will my order be dispatched?
Please allow up to 2 business days for us to carefully prepare and pack your order before dispatch.During particularly busy periods, including Easter, Christmas and seasonal launches, processing times may be slightly longer.Pre-orders and seasonal products may have specific dispatch dates, which will be stated on the relevant product page. Please remember that processing time is separate from delivery time.
What delivery options do you offer?
We currently offer two main Royal Mail delivery options:Standard Delivery – Royal Mail Tracked 24Royal Mail aims to deliver on the next working day following dispatch. However, this is not a guaranteed 24-hour or next-day service, and delivery may take1–2 working days or occasionally longer.Next Day Guaranteed – Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pmFor eligible UK addresses, this service guarantees delivery by 1pm on the next working day following dispatch, subject to Royal Mail's geographical exceptions and service conditions. Our usual processing time of up to 2 business days applies before dispatch. For full details, including geographical exceptions, please see our Delivery Policy.
Are there any exceptions to Royal Mail Next Day Guaranteed delivery?
Yes.Royal Mail applies different delivery times to certain UK destinations, particularly some remote and island postcode areas. If your postcode falls within one of Royal Mail's geographical exceptions, the standard next-working-day by 1pm guarantee will not apply. As Royal Mail may update these areas from time to time, please see our Delivery Policy for the current information and Royal Mail service details.
Where is my order? How can I track it?
Once your order has been dispatched, we'll send you a confirmation email containing your tracking information. Please allow a little time for the tracking information to update after your parcel has been handed to Royal Mail.If your parcel appears to be significantly delayed, please contact us at info@terroirchocolate.co.uk and we'll be happy to help investigate.
Can I request a specific delivery date?
You are welcome to leave your preferred date in the order notes and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that unless you select a guaranteed delivery service, we cannot guarantee the exact date on which Royal Mail will deliver your parcel. If your order is particularly time-sensitive, please contact us at info@terroirchocolate.co.uk before ordering and we'll be happy to advise you.
Can I send items to multiple addresses in one order?
Our online checkout currently supports one delivery address per order. If you'd like chocolates delivered to several different addresses, please place a separate order for each address. For larger corporate or gifting orders involving multiple addresses, please contact us at info@terroirchocolate.co.uk and we'll be happy to discuss the easiest way to arrange your order.
Do you deliver internationally?
International delivery availability depends on the destination and current customs and delivery requirements. Please contact us at info@terroirchocolate.co.uk before ordering and we'll let you know whether we're currently able to deliver to your destination.
Can I choose my own flavours?
Absolutely! Our Pick & Mix option allows you to build your own box from the flavours currently available. Our collection changes throughout the year, so the selection available online may vary depending on season and availability. If you'd rather leave the choosing to us, simply select Assorted and we'll create a beautiful selection for you.
How long do your chocolates last?
For the best flavour and texture, we recommend enjoying our fresh chocolate bonbons within approximately 20 days.Your chocolates will also have a best-before date, so please always check the information provided with your order.Because we use fresh ingredients and make our chocolates in small batches, they are best enjoyed fresh.
How should I store my chocolates?
For the best flavour and texture, store your chocolates in a cool, dry place at a constant temperature of approximately 16–18°C, away from direct sunlight, heat and strong odours.A wine fridge set to the correct temperature can work very well.If you need to use a standard refrigerator, keep the chocolates well sealed to protect them from moisture and odours. Before opening the container, allow them to gradually return to room temperature while still sealed to help prevent condensation forming on the chocolate.
What allergens are contained in your chocolates?
Ingredients and allergens vary depending on the chocolates and flavours selected, particularly as our collection changes throughout the year. For full and up-to-date information, please see our Ingredients & Allergens page. Please be aware that our chocolates are produced in an environment where multiple allergens are handled. If you have a severe allergy or specific concern, please contact us before ordering.
Will an invoice or price information be included with my order?
No. We do not include prices or invoices inside our chocolate parcels, making them perfect for sending directly as gifts. If your order is a gift, you can also add a gift message when placing your order.
Can I make changes after placing my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible at info@terroirchocolate.co.uk.If your order has not yet entered preparation, we will do our best to accommodate changes such as correcting a recipient's name, changing delivery information or adding a gift message.Once an order has entered preparation or has been dispatched, we may no longer be able to make changes.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
For standard orders, you can cancel your order for a full refund as long as it has not yet been processed and dispatched. As our chocolates are freshly made and perishable, cancellation is no longer possible once your order has been processed and dispatched.Different conditions apply to certain pre-order and seasonal products, as production may begin weeks or months before dispatch.Depending on how close the cancellation is to the planned dispatch date and the production costs already incurred, we may retain:More than 14 days before dispatch: up to 25% of the order value7–14 days before dispatch: up to 50% of the order valueLess than 7 days before dispatch: up to 100% of the order valueAny amount retained will reflect the stage of production and the actual costs or losses reasonably incurred. Please see our Order Cancellation Policy for full details.
What is your returns and refunds policy?
Because our chocolates are freshly made and perishable, we are generally unable to accept returns or provide refunds simply because you have changed your mind once an order has been processed and dispatched. However, if your order arrives damaged, incorrect, faulty or there is another problem with your chocolates, please contact us as soon as possible. Please include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs where applicable so that we can investigate and help.Your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Please see our Refund & Returns Policy for full details.
Can I order an in-stock product together with a pre-order product?
Yes, but unless otherwise stated, your complete order will be dispatched together when the pre-order product is ready. If you'd like to receive your in-stock chocolates sooner, please place a separate order.
Can I purchase pre-order products with different dispatch dates in the same order?
Yes.However, unless otherwise stated, all products within the same order will be dispatched together when the last pre-order product becomes available. If you'd like to receive each product as soon as it becomes available, please place separate orders.
What happens if I order an Almost Perfect item together with a pre-order?
Our Almost Perfect chocolates may have a shorter remaining shelf life.If an Almost Perfect product is purchased together with a pre-order and its best-before date would expire before the planned dispatch date, we may contact you to arrange an alternative.Depending on the circumstances, the item may be refunded or dispatched separately for an additional delivery charge. If a refund changes the remaining order value so that it no longer qualifies for free delivery, the applicable standard delivery charge may need to be taken into account.
